The Finding Aid follows the arrangement of the collection and is comprised of 4 sections: Scrapbook, Publications, Personal Papers and Index. The collection is arranged chronologically, with the exception of the Scrapbook. The contents of the Scrapbook retain original order and are arranged sequentially with assigned page numbers prefixed by SC: (Scrapbook pages are unnumbered). Entries for published materials use Chicago Manual of Style and all other papers use AACR2 rules for manuscripts. Separate fields for notes, record form and date have been added to assist the collection user.
The Roy E. Stryker papers are indicated by an * preceded by the item number.
Index terms use keyword descriptors taken from the title/author fields and where applicable the item text.
